High Performance Corrosion Resistant Alloy Powder for RF Applications

Ossining, NY – March 25 2010 – Accumet Materials, Co., of Ossining, NY has joined with MWT Materials, Inc. of Passaic, NJ to produce an improved version of MF500 Type CR Alloy Powder.  The powder can be used for RF control, electro-magnetic shielding, and structural applications where elevated temperature performance and/or corrosion resistance is required. 

After the alloyed powder is produced, MWT's proprietary coating is applied to enhance the corrosion resistance and bonding of the powder in a matrix.  Accumet is a leading supplier of powders and other specialty ceramics and metals used for many Hi-Tech applications and MWT is a leading supplier of RF technologies to industry.  The combined resources of both companies will ensure a continued supplier of MF500 Type CR Powder and improved technical support.  Using our custom classification process we can also supply this powder with mean particle sizes from 5 to 45 microns.
